The FireAngel Alarm Control Unit (FS1524W2-T) allows individuals to remotely test, silence and locate a network of interlinked smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms within a property.

By using an alarm control unit, testing multiple interlinked alarms becomes simple and fast for all individuals – from one centralised device this alarm control unit provides a greater deal of control and flexibility and also allows individuals to silence and locate triggered alarms – suitable for vulnerable adults, elderly and those with high ceilings who find it hard to access alarms for regular testing.

Suitable for any room within a property – can be wall-mounted or left free-standing.

Once interlinked within a Smart RF network, every interlinked FireAngel alarm can be easily silenced or tested via pressing the large central button on the alarm, but we recognise this isn’t easy for everyone. Without an alarm control unit, residents will need to physically test each of their alarms across several different rooms. This is a simple task for those who are able (typically via a broom/ladder) however this can be difficult for the elderly, disabled or those living in properties with high ceilings.

Therefore, by integrating just one Smart RF alarm into a home network, you can test every alarm remotely with the press of a button (and without a broom or ladder!) – to find out more about Smart RF technology visit our technology section.

Designed for use by the deaf and hard of hearing, – a strobe and pad should be installed in the main room where an individual sleeps. You can wireless interlink additional Strobe and Vibrating Pads to the network and install them in any room where an individual may need to be alerted in the event of an alarm. We recommend that if you install any additional Strobe and Vibrating Pads, you should test each of these upon installation to check they are “learned in” to the rest of the network.

The Spec Connected Wireless Gateway does require an internet connection and is supplied with an ethernet cable to allow the installer to connect to a broadband router.

This connection enables the push notifications from a property’s alarm network to a mobile or smart devices. But if the internet connection is lost the alarms, interlinked alarms will still perform to a high standard and will detect danger and if necessary, alert within a property, however without an internet connection you will not receive any push notification to your devices.
