Take a connected approach to fire safety

Our latest Specification Range, featuring Smart RF technology, has been designed with housing providers and installers in mind – this flexible, easy to fit range delivers the latest technology and offering maximum fire and asset protection.
Our advanced Specification range is leading the way in connected fire safety. If you have ever (or never) considered taking a connected approach to fire safety, here are four reasons why you should:

1.Wireless interlinking of up to 50 devices

Choose from 10 year mains-powered alarms with battery backup that comply to the latest BS 5839-6:2019 Grade D1 standard, or battery powered alarms that meet Grade
F1standard. Both types of long-life alarms are fitted with a 10 year sealed for life lithium battery.
By adding FireAngel’s Smart RF Radio Module, you can easily create a wireless safety network of up to 50 mains and/or battery-powered alarms, interlinked together on a private network, so when one alarm sounds, they all sound.

2. Flexible hybrid network capability

The simple and quick addition of the Smart RF Radio Module interlinks both the mains-powered and battery powered alarms together onto a flexible hybrid system.
This eliminates any additional effort and costs associated with hardwiring, as installers can quickly extend the network wirelessly. It also offers the opportunity to provide a higher standard of fire protection as additional safety products can be added as and when required.

3. Proven low carbon footprint

Our mains-powered alarms also feature an intelligent ‘step down’ circuit that monitors its active state, adequately managing the power available.
This means our smoke and heat alarms use just 10% of the energy when compared to the average AC alarm, equating to an impressive running cost of 6p per alarm, per year. It also produces on average 95% less CO2 than other leading mains powered alarms.

4. Remote monitoring of alarms

By adding the Smart RF Radio Module, the range can be easily upgraded to provide remote, real time monitoring, including current status, alarm history, replacement dates and network health.
This can be achieved through the activation of a secure cloud-based FireAngel Connected gateway, which activates remote monitoring to deliver real time updates across all alarms on the network and features our unique patented Predict technology.
