FireAngel strengthen partnership with SGN with donation of CO alarms

FireAngel Safety Technology Limited, one of Europe’s leading smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide (CO) alarm suppliers is proud to be supporting SGN with the donation of 100 CO alarms.

The Gas Distribution Networks (GDNs) had a stand at the Scout’s annual reunion event that brings scouting leaders together from different parts of the UK to provide real learning and development opportunities.

Cadent Gas who were also hosting the stand alongside SGN and WWU (Wales and West Utilities) also brought along some FireAngel CO alarms from their stock with the team ending up with just over 200 carbon monoxide alarms for the event.

The SGN operate across the south of England and across Scotland to help keep individuals safe and the gas flowing to 5.9 million homes and businesses.

Speaking about the sessions the scouts have had Dan Edwards, Social Impact Programme Lead at SGN said: “We’re really hopeful that from the discussions we had and the provision of the CO alarms many more Scouting groups will take part in our CO awareness activities, helping to keep hundreds more households safer from the dangers of CO. A big thank you to FireAngel for supporting through their donation of trusted carbon monoxide alarms.”
