What’s the difference between sealed for life/lifetime battery units and replaceable battery units?

General

11 September 2024

Sealed for Life Battery Units: These alarms come with a non-replaceable, sealed battery designed to last the lifetime of the alarm (typically 10 years). They require no battery changes and provide constant protection without maintenance.
Replaceable Battery Units: These alarms allow you to replace the battery when it runs low. You’ll need to change the battery every 1-2 years, depending on the type of battery used.
