How do I look after or clean my smoke/heat alarm?

General

11 September 2024

To maintain your smoke/heat alarm clean the outer casing and air vents using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment. Avoid using water or chemicals.
Test the alarm monthly by pressing the test button on the front of the alarm.
Replace the battery (if applicable) when the low-battery warning chirps.
