The LCD screen shows the current carbon monoxide concentration in parts per million (ppm). Under normal conditions it displays zero. If CO is detected, the number rises to show the exact level. The alarm triggers at thresholds set by EN 50291: 50ppm within 60 to 90 minutes, 100ppm within 10 to 40 minutes, and 300ppm or more within 3 minutes.
