What does the warranty cover?

Our warranties cover eligible manufacturing and design defects when products are used under normal residential conditions.

Covered under our warranty:

• Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
• Product defects resulting from the manufacturer’s design errors.

All claims are subject to the exclusions and conditions outlined below.

What is not covered?

Our warranties do not cover the following:

• Incorrect handling: Damage caused by mishandling a product.
• Lack of maintenance: Defects resulting from inadequate maintenance.
• Consumables: Consumable components or items.
• Unauthorised repairs or modifications: Repairs or modifications carried out by the customer or third parties.
• Fire or smoke damage: Defects caused by fire or smoke.
• Unsuitable installation locations: Products installed in locations that are not suitable for their intended use.
• Consequential damage: Any consequential damage caused by a product or its malfunction.
• Installation outside the UK: Products installed outside the United Kingdom.

Please also note that FireAngel does not cover the cost of installing replacement components supplied under the warranty.

How do I make a warranty claim?

If you believe your FireAngel product has developed a fault, our Customer Support Team is here to help.

To make a claim, please have the following information ready:

• Your order number: For purchases made through the FireAngel webshop.
• Your product batch number: This helps us identify your product.
• Details of the fault: A description of the issue you are experiencing.

We will discuss the issue with you and agree on the next steps. You may also be asked to provide photographs of the product or fault to help us assess the best solution.

What happens after I make a claim?

Once we have assessed your claim, we will discuss the appropriate solution with you.

If a fault is confirmed, FireAngel will, at its discretion:

• Replace the faulty unit with a new one; or
• Provide a similar alternative if the original model is no longer available.

If FireAngel requests the product back for further analysis or repair, we will arrange and pay for its transportation and return delivery.

If a product is returned to FireAngel and is found not to be defective, the unit will be returned to you at your cost.
