FA3322 Digital Display Carbon Monoxide Alarm – Sealed Battery

If the alarm sounds, open all windows and doors immediately to ventilate the room. Turn off any fuel-burning appliances if it is safe to do so. Move everyone, including pets, outside into fresh air and call the Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Do not re-enter the property until a qualified engineer has confirmed it is safe. Install a CO alarm in every room with a fuel-burning appliance such as a boiler, gas fire, or wood-burning stove. Position it on the ceiling or high on a wall, between 1m and 3m from the CO source. The FA3322 LCD cycles between two standby displays:

1. Room temperature and humidity levels are shown in degrees centigrade – making this alarm perfect for bedrooms
2. Current carbon monoxide level in parts per million (ppm)/li>

Press the test button to switch between them. During this time the display also shows the peak CO level recorded over the last 4 weeks. The backlight changes colour based on alarm status, providing clear visual guidance. Under normal conditions with no CO detected, the CO reading shows zero.

A single chirp typically means low battery, though the FA3322 has a sealed 10-year battery so this usually indicates the unit is reaching end of life and needs replacing. A repeated alarm pattern with red LED means CO has been detected. Sleep Easy mode can silence low-battery chirps for 8 hours overnight. If the FA3322 detects carbon monoxide while you are away, the 30-day memory stores the event. A red LED flashes twice every 40 seconds for up to 7 days to alert you that CO was present.
