FA6611-R Optical Smoke Alarm with Escape Light

When the FA6611-R detects smoke, the built-in escape light activates automatically alongside the 85dB alarm. The extra-bright light illuminates your escape route so you can navigate safely even in complete darkness. This is especially useful for escape routes, including hallways, landings and bedrooms where a fire could leave you disoriented at night.

Press the test/hush button once for a quiet self-test at reduced volume, at least 10dB below the full alarm. Double-press for a full-volume 85dB test. A single chirp every 40 seconds typically means the AA batteries need replacing. Unlike sealed-battery alarms, you can simply swap in new batteries.
