FireAngel Grade D1 fire alarms include a home occupier information QR code label for the consumer unit. It gives residents access to guidance on alarm testing, maintenance and fire safety, including advice that children may not always wake to traditional alarm tones.
The label also identifies the circuit supplying the alarm system, helping prevent accidental isolation of the mains supply.
By keeping product and safety information accessible throughout the installation’s life, the label supports the recommendations of BS 5839-6 and encourages correct ongoing system management.
