Angel Connect app

FireAngel One is a connected range of smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms designed to provide protection throughout your home.

Using Bluetooth technology, FireAngel One alarms can be interconnected to create a connected fire safety system that can grow with your home. The range combines reliable fire protection with smart technology, helping to provide greater peace of mind.

You will need to download the Angel Connect app, which is available for IOS and Android devices. Ensure you have set yourself an account up, before trying to interlink devices.

Tap ‘Add device’, which will appear on the homepage of the app. Here, you can add a Gateway or add standalone devices and select the device from a dropdown menu.

You will then need to pair your devices; this can be done by pressing the Test button three times, and the app will connect to the device and complete set up.

Wait for the success message before leaving the page.

The data generated by your FireAngel One network is primarily operational, diagnostic and safety-event data. It is used to show device status, support alarm and fault notifications, maintain gateway connectivity, help identify device or gateway issues, assist customer support and provide device history through the FireAngel platform and mobile application.

Compatible FireAngel One devices can connect to the FireAngel cloud platform through the WIFI3 Gateway, which acts as a secure connectivity bridge between your connected devices and the cloud.

The gateway receives relevant device status, event and diagnostic information and securely transmits this information to the FireAngel cloud platform. Once received, relevant information is made available through the FireAngel mobile app, including alerts, device status and event history.

Your safety remains independent of the gateway and cloud connection. Core safety functions, including local alarm activation and device fault indication, are processed directly by the device and do not rely on the gateway, mobile app or cloud platform being available.

Data transmitted between the WIFI3 Gateway and the FireAngel cloud platform is protected using encrypted communications and device authentication. Sensitive configuration data stored locally on the gateway is also encrypted.
