FireAngel One alarms use night sensing to automatically dim their status LEDs when they detect low light levels. This means you can still see that your alarm is monitoring correctly, without bright flashing lights distracting you while you sleep or watch a film in a dark room.
Every FireAngel One alarm has a battery designed to last the lifetime of its sensor. As the alarm approaches the end of its service life, it will provide an audible chirp to let you know it needs replacing.
If this happens during the night, Sleep Easy allows the chirp to be silenced for eight hours. The feature can be used up to 10 times, giving you time to arrange a replacement without having to deal with repeated interruptions throughout the night.
Inside your home, the Angel Connect app allows you to mute an individual FireAngel One alarm or mute all connected alarms at once when there is a non-emergency alert.
If you want to receive alerts through the app and check the status of your alarm system while you’re away from home, you’ll need to purchase the FireAngel One Smart Gateway.
Importantly, muting an alarm does not disable its ability to respond to danger. If the device detects fire or carbon monoxide, it will continue to alert as designed, helping to keep you and your home protected.

Interlinked alarms can provide an earlier warning of fire, which can be particularly important when people are asleep. If one interconnected alarm detects fire, it communicates with the other alarms in the network, causing them to sound throughout the home.
This means an alarm can be heard in other areas of the property, even if the fire starts some distance away. By alerting people closer to where they are sleeping or spending time, an interlinked network can provide vital additional time to recognise the warning, wake up and begin escaping.
Even a small amount of extra time can make a difference when a household needs to react quickly. This can be especially important in larger or multi-storey homes, where walls, floors and distance can make it harder to hear an alarm from another part of the property.
If you add carbon monoxide alarms to your interlinked network, you can also receive an alert throughout your home if carbon monoxide is detected. A FireAngel One Smart CO alarm can communicate with your interconnected smoke and heat alarms, helping to ensure that everyone in the home is alerted to the danger, wherever they are.
